DANICA KASPAR is a ceramicist based out of Vancouver, BC Canada. Her work explores function, movement, and sound using organic forms and traditional vessels as inspiration. From mobile elements that change the appearance or function of a design to the clinks of chains and pendants. She seeks to push the boundaries of what is often expected of ceramics inviting viewers to touch and engage with her pieces. Danica strives to be ever evolving and to continue to explore her work in ceramics in ways that challenge her to create things she hasn’t seen before.

Sometimes she makes functional dish ware when she feels like it.

Danica lives on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations (Vancouver, BC).
